Meet Sister Jean, the 98-year-old chaplain who just received the Crying Jordan treatment

One of the biggest stars to emerge from this year’s NCAA basketball tournament is Sister Jean, the 98-year-old super fan of Loyola Chicago. Her face appears on bobbleheads, T-shirts, and other merchandise, and as great as the underdog Loyola’s run to the Final Four was, it also was a blast watching Sister Jean bask in the glory of victory and celebrity.

But that didn’t make her immune from the Crying Jordan meme when her favorite team lost to Michigan in the Final Four on Saturday night.

And now we know that Crying Jordan has no limitations on gender, occupation, or age.

Though some wondered if the meme had gone too far when it was roasting a nonagenarian chaplain because the team she’s followed for decades lost in the Final Four, here’s another tweet celebrating the biggest college basketball star of the last month.
