A newly released trailer for Netflix’s coming limited series Maniac offers a peak of Emma Stone and Jonah Hill on a whirlwind tour of multiple universes.

Stone and Hill, who have come along way from their Superbad era, star in the show as the subjects of a secretive (and seemingly sketchy) drug trial. In the trailer, we see Annie Landsberg (Stone) and Owen Milgrim (Hill) venturing through various realities, including what looks like flapper-era debauchery, a fantastical hunting mission, and a very miniature town. There’s also a flash of a strange, purple, Koala-looking creature.

The Maniac trailer brings to mind the universe-hopping of 2010’s Inception mixed with Black Mirror-like technology gone wrong—and it looks like a bonkers ride.

Showrunner Cary Fukunaga (True Detective) is helming Maniac, which is based on a Norwegian TV series with the same title. It begins streaming on Netflix on Sept. 21.
