Tuca & Bertie, the new animated series from BoJack Horseman‘s Lisa Hanawalt, debuts in a month, but it has some relevant content for Equal Pay Day.
The series, which follows the lives of feathered friends Tuca (Tiffany Haddish) and Bertie (Ali Wong), exists parallel to BoJack‘s universe; it has the same colorful weirdos and neuroses, but an independent bird-woman’s point of view. In this new clip, Bertie, who works at a magazine, tries to voice her opinion during a meeting, only to be cut off by a puffed-out colleague. Tuca addresses it in a way we all wish we could. But hey, it gets results in Tuca & Bertie‘s world.
Tuca & Bertie debuts May 3.
