Here at the Daily Dot, we swap GIF images with each other every morning. Now we’re looping you in. In the Morning GIF, we feature a popular—or just plain cool—GIF we found on Reddit, Canvas, or elsewhere on the Internet.

The name is Bond. James Bond. James Bond. James Bond. James Bond. James Bond. James Bond.

Skyfall is a smash, predictably. What Bond movie hasn’t been, no matter how ill-suited the particular Bond (Woody Allen, anyone?)? After fifty years, Ian Fleming’s suave secret agent is still getting the girls — and maybe boys — and bagging the baddies. How apt is latest Bond Daniel Craig’s description of the movies as “white man porn.”

This morning’s GIF is the iconic shutter bullseye shot, which, along with vaguely visible nude women, has made an appearance in the opening sequence of every canonical Bond movie to date,. This time, instead of framing one Bond shooting one bullet, it contains the entire Pantheon of Bondness, from Daniel Craig to Sean Connery, and a barrage of ballistics. Whether this is an evolution up or devolution down Bond-wise is a matter for one’s personal taste (Lazenby fans represent!).

Posted to J’s Tammany Hall on Tumblr, it’s collected 27,314 notes, undoubtedly at least some of them mash notes.
