They don’t call him Floyd “Money” Mayweather for nothing.
On Twitter, Mayweather’s tweets would make Robin Leach blush, constantly updating his 2.3 million followers with pictures of lavish parties, expensive cars, and receipts of him gambling exorbitant amounts of money on football games.
But these sorts of things are nothing new for Mayweather, whose bravado has earned him the title of one of the most hated and greatest boxers in history. That contradiction was on display two weeks ago when a GIF animation of Mayweather tossing money at a camera reached the top of r/gifs.
“Good boxer but his arrogance just drives me insane,” commented chiechie1970. “What ever happened to the successful and humble boxer’s.”
