Here at the Daily Dot, we have an unofficial tradition of sharing GIF images with each other every morning. Now we’re looping you into the circle. In the Morning GIF, we’ll feature a popular—or just plain cool—GIF we found on Reddit, Canvas, or elsewhere on the Internet. (A special thanks to Mr. GIF, the three-person animation factory, which created our new logo.)

More than 69,000 football fans sat in complete darkness Monday night after two separate power outages delayed the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers game for about 35 minutes.

The first outage at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park happened before kickoff after “security chief Jeff Miller said he witnessed a transformer blow up while he was monitoring a gate outside the stadium,” reported ABC News. The second outage “came early in the second quarter and halted the game again between the playoff-bound teams for about 15 minutes,” reported ABC.

To celebrate the occasion, Twitter user Dan McQuade (@dhm) tweeted the following GIF image showing an aerial shot of the football stadium before one of the outages. The GIF was retweeted more than 100 times.
