Matthew Inman, the genius behind the popular comic site The Oatmeal, has a new series called “I drew some tweets.” Just a few weeks old, the comic already has 10 panels.

Inman takes tweets by the Twitter account @TopTweets, which shares “some of the most interesting tweets spreading across Twitter,”  and illustrates them to  highlight their absurdity.

As Inman explained on his site, he originally followed @TopTweets to find “insightful”  tweets, but what he found instead was a “far cry from insight.”

Inman’s panels include regular users as well as celebrity tweets, though not all tweets get illustrated. (Sometimes he just writes commentary underneath the tweet.)

So far, the comic series is off to a chuckle-worthy start.
