Louis C.K. hosted Saturday Night Live for the fourth time this weekend, and his monologues tend to walk a fine line between edgy and downright inappropriate, like the time he joked about child molestation.

Louis C.K.’s monologue wasn’t quite that provocative on Saturday night. But consider this: His first joke was, “Why did the chicken cross the road? Because there was a black guy walking behind him.” Later, he talked about why he wanted to make love to a goat.

Said Louis C.K.: “I don’t care that you’re upset.” Nor has ever. Which might be one reason why he’s so bitingly funny.
