On Feb. 8, Sony Network’s streaming service, Crackle, debuts its latest original film, In the Cloud. The techno-thriller is directed by Robert Scott Wildes and written by Vanya Asher. In this exclusive clip, Gabriel Byrne’s character, Doc Wolff, shows off the digital map of his own brain. The movie is set in the near future, where virtual reality and artificial intelligence have evolved to the point where authorities want to use the technology to get into the minds of terrorists. But not everyone’s motives are so pure. In the Cloud‘s premise calls to mind Minority Report and Source Code, which is promising.

Crackle is also letting viewers in on the In the Cloud VR Afterlife fun. Users can download the virtual-reality experience through Playstation VR and Samsung VR.
