Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette is among the wildest to air—and it’s not even finished.
The latest drama to unfold deals with three people—a blogger known as Reality Steve, contestant Jed Wyatt, and Wyatt’s alleged girlfriend Haley Stevens, who is now claiming she was in a relationship with Wyatt the whole time he was on The Bachelorette.
Reality Steve is a blogger who’s been writing about The Bachelor franchise for years and is infamous for reporting spoilers and posting them before they air. He hunts down social media and talks to disgruntled friends and exes of contestants. Earlier in the season, he predicted that Brown had chosen Tyler Cameron. But on Tuesday he backtracked and said that Brown chose Wyatt, a singer from Nashville.
Shortly after that, People released an interview with a woman named Haley Stevens, who claimed she was in a relationship with Wyatt the entire time he was on the show, and that he only went on to further his career.
She further says that Wyatt told her that he had no plans on dating Brown, and that “it’s not real. It’s acing.”
“He told me [the show] was just an obstacle and we’d be stronger on the other side because of it,” she told People.
But instead, after he got on the show, he reportedly ghosted her, and when they finally did speak, he told her he didn’t know what to say.
“I was terrified that he would fall in love with Hannah,” she added.
After that, Reality Steve began to post alleged evidence of Stevens and Wyatt’s relationship—including comments he left on Stevens’ Instagram photos.

Fans were not impressed.
“#TheBachelorette Just want to say that I never trusted Jed and I learned my lesson from Luke Pell to never trust aspiring country singers,” the @memes_bachelor account tweeted.

Can we start talking about how messed up it was that Jed Wyatt slept with that girl the night before he left for the show and told her their relationship would be stronger and that it would just be “acting”. Any guy that can do that is a total douche #bachelorette

Wyatt wouldn’t be the first guy to go on the show with a prior and ongoing relationship, but those dudes usually get weeded out early into the series. This bombshell dropped after production wrapped and he was framed as a loving match for Brown. If he is indeed the reported winner, it’ll make for an awkward-as-hell “After the Final Rose.”
