Ever had “The Jay-Z” on the rocks? What about “The Kreayshawn” or “The White Denim?”
Thanks to the new website Drinkify, your favorite bands are being transformed into classic cocktails.
The site was created by designer Hannah Donovan, data specialist Lindsay Evink, and coder Matthew Ogle, and works by pulling data from the Echo Nest and Last.fm.
In the last three days, Drinkify has been mentioned more than 30,000 times on Twitter, according to stats from Topsy, a social media search engine. There are some miscues—“The Rebecca Black” should be “spiked” prom punch, not “6 oz. Vodka”— it’s still a cheap and fun party trick that goes together with Soundtracking like gin and juice.
Gearing up for an epic night of karaoke, the Daily Dot put together our favorite drink specials.
“THE KREAYSHAWN”
1 oz. rum
1 oz. grapefruit juice
8 oz. Bacardi rum
Combine in shaker and strain into cocktail glass. Serve. Garnish with salt.

8 oz. orange juice

2 oz. whiskey
2 oz. iced tea
2 oz. Worcestershire sauce
