People are very invested in a feud between Drake Bell and Josh Peck.
While the two played stepbrothers on Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh, their real-life friendship seems to have faltered, which is a thing that happens in real life. Peck married his girlfriend in Malibu, California, on Saturday and people noticed Bell’s absence. He expressed his feelings about being snubbed in a now-deleted tweet, stating: “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear.” He also tweeted that ties between the two had been “officially cut,” adding, “I’ll miss you brotha.” In early June, Peck tweeted out a throwback photo of the two.

Yes, it’s weird that people are mad that fictional pals maybe aren’t really friends in real life. But Nickelodeon nostalgia is a helluva drug. It’s not clear what caused the rift, but in 2015 Bell came under fire for tweeting transphobic comments about Caitlyn Jenner. According to the Twitter mill, Bell also supported President Donald Trump.

If anything good has come of this feud, it’s a flood of memes.

And while this meme appeared before the feud, it’s still very good.
