Daily Fluff: Local cat lands lead role in “Spider-Man” tour

A New Hampshire cat named Mintin has landed the lead in the planned national touring production of the Spider-Man rock opera, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.

“Mintin is both athletic and has a great meow,” said touring production director Tag Scanlon, who also praised Mintin’s guitar playing.  ”He’s a triple threat.”

The musical will open in Boston in June with 6-month, cross-country tour already booked.
