Twenty-four hours ago, actress Louise Brealey discovered the secret the Internet already knew: Benedict Cumberbatch, star of BBC’s hit Sherlock, is so much more than just an actor.

Brealey, who plays Molly Hooper, asked Twitter users if they had anything to say to the show’s star before their upcoming panel at this weekend’s Cheltenham Literary Festival. 18 hours, 115 retweets, 1 hashtag, and a worldwide trend later, Brealey has accepted Cumberbatch’s true power: as a social-media-crushing fan phenomenon.
