They will meet up with the Georgetown Hoyas on Thursday in the 2k Empire Classic tournament, at Madison Square Garden, in New York City.
The Longhorns, who already have a quality win over Purdue, are led by point guard Matt Coleman who leads the team in points and assists. They’ve gotten a significant boost with the return of Andre Jones, who sat out last season recovering from leukemia.

Georgetown (3-1) comes in with an altered look, featuring less of sophomore sensation Mac McClung (12.3 ppg) and a little more Turkish big man Omer Yurtseven. The senior and North Carolina State transfer has averaged 17.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game so far this season.
