Broad City‘s Abbi Jacobson is sitting down for a podcast all about art.
In partnership with the Museum of Modern Art and WNYC, Jacobson is set to host A Piece of Work, a 10-episode series that aims to answer questions from MoMA patrons and “cover art movements ranging from Abstract Expressionism to Pop art to Minimalism; focus on different mediums, including painting, sculpture, performance, video, and design; and highlight a wide range of artists, as well as the ideas, questions, materials, and processes that inform their work.”
Joining Jacobson—who has published four illustrated art books—will be guests like Broad City co-star Hannibal Buress, author Samantha Irby, and RuPaul. Each episode will explore a different theme, and the first episode features Buress and a conversation about Marcel Duchamp’s Bicycle Wheel and Meret Oppenheim’s Object. Check out a sample here.
