Alec Baldwin is apparently not a one-note impressionist. So, when Saturday Night Live returned to the airwaves after an extended break, Baldwin didn’t just play President Donald Trump. He also introduced a new character: Fox News star Bill O’Reilly.
As SNL saw it, Trump and O’Reilly—who, it was recently revealed, had to pay $13 million to five women to avoid lawsuits for sexual harassment and verbal abuse, leading dozens of his national advertisers to abandon his show, The O’Reilly Factor—had plenty in common.
And Baldwin’s version of O’Reilly also has newfound problems with advertisers.
The meeting between Baldwin’s O’Reilly and Baldwin’s Trump is a fun moment for the show, especially when O’Reilly introduces Trump as the man “who came to my defense, a man who is unimpeachable on all female issues.”
