Last night, the University of Maryland-Baltimore College pulled off a historic upset, becoming the first #16 seed to down a #1 seed, when they beat tournament favorite University of Virginia.

And no one had more fun throughout the game than the manager of the team’s Twitter account, Zach Seidel.

While the odds against the team were long, the account kicked things off with a taunt.

To which the bookstore chimed in.

You would think they wouldn’t need it, but UMBC and Virginia went into the half tied.

Then the lowly school started pulling away, and the account got lit.

From there, their lead began to grow. The tweets got wild.

It was the first time in over 130 tries a 16 seed beat a top-ranked team, so, of course, there was a celebration. Both on IRL and online.

Things got so wild, Seidel told ESPN his Tweekdeck crashed eight times.

UMBC plays Kansas State on Sunday.
