Tom Hanks asks Twitter for help in returning lost student ID

One college student was lucky enough to get a photo with Tom Hanks—sort of. 

When Hanks isn’t busy starring in Carly Rae Jepsen music videos, he’s saving college students from the terror of losing their student IDs. The actor on Tuesday tweeted a photo of a young woman’s Fordham University identification card, letting her know that he’d have it returned.

Thanks to the power of the Internet, a friend of Lauren’s and one of her professors have chimed in about Hanks’s good deed. Surely she’ll be getting her ID back soon.

Hanks couldn’t save Wilson, but at least he’s got Lauren covered.
