Miami Heat recreate ultra-’90s ‘Martin’ theme song for some reason

If you were a TV viewer in the 1990s, it was nearly impossible not to absorb comedian Martin Lawrence and his hit Fox TV show Martin. Even if you don’t recall watching a full episode of the sitcom—which ran from 1992-97—the opening credits were, at least retroactively, iconic for music and fashion.

You know who also remembers? The Miami Heat—including Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Amar’e Stoudamire, Udonis Haslam, Chris Andersen, Tyler Johnson, and Josh Richardson—apparently do, and seemingly out of nowhere, the NBA team has released a Martin parody.

So, nice job with that, though we’re still not sure why the Heat players decided to take on the project at this time. One thing we can say with near certainty: Drake once again was not invited to have some fun with his Miami Heat friends, and he’s probably really upset about it.
