A man was arrested after sending a tweet that allegedly revealed the name of a rape victim.
The man, of Manchester, England, suburb Cheadle, was questioned by detectives Friday and bailed pending further inquiries.
Police said the man sent the tweet on Wednesday, according to Manchester Evening News, adding that he shared an opinion about someone the man believed to be a rape victim.
Victims of all sexual offenses are granted anonymity for life in the U.K.
After soccer player Ched Evans was found guilty of rape and jailed for five years, 16 people were arrested for allegedly naming his victim on Twitter. Nine were fined in November, and a 10th, who originally entered a not guilty plea, in January.
