A sweet moment turned awkward when husband and wife Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were caught smooching in an elevator right before West left Kardashian to carry their shopping bags by herself.

Instagram user @ozzee22 said, “My man left the elevator like he was there alone lol, but I know that wasn’t deliberate.”

The moment was too much for some Twitter users to not respond in amusement.

“The door started closing and all,” Twitter user @RoatansFinest wrote, along with a series of crying laughing emoji.

Cosmopolitan reports the moment comes on the heels of another less than ideal PDA situation for the couple during All-Star Weekend. The two were caught on the kiss cam, however, it seems from a video that West did not get the kissing memo.

In the video, Kardashian can be seen leaning in for a kiss, while West simply smiles at the camera, leaving her hanging.

Some Twitter users speculated the past two instances show how West “truly feels.”

“Kanye really a Gemini,” Twitter user @youngskywalkeer wrote.

Despite the elevator mishap, that didn’t stop the couple from flexing their Paris shenanigans with followers, proving once again there’s nothing a few good photos can’t fix.
