A toddler replaces the monster in this perfectly recut ‘Godzilla’ trailer

At thirty-four-and-a-half inches, they tower over coffee tables and the family cat, filling parents and babysitters with dread. No other force of man or nature can match the horror or destruction caused by:

One parent managed to perfectly capture that feeling when they used the audio from 2014’s Godzilla trailer to make their own equally terrifying YouTube video.

As with the original trailer, the director wisely builds anticipation by opening with shots of the destruction.

The new trailer is enough to strike fear into the heart of any parent who, while watching this, probably popped up off the couch and said “Honey? What’s the baby doing right now?”
