While you’re busy toiling away at your desk job, your dog is probably back home, happily sleeping and farting on the couch he’s not supposed to be on. It’s enough to make anybody jealous.
But don’t be mad at your dog when you could be pissed at this dog, who is on a dream vacation in London and doesn’t even appear to be enjoying it.
Sure, Instagram-famous Doug the Pug looked pretty self-satisfied in full regalia outside Buckingham Palace.
He even forced a grin at the Eye. But then the realities of his daily grind—he’s there on a promotional tour for his new book, so all work and no play, right?—began to set in. He looked nothing short of forlorn over a heaping plate of fish and chips.
A trip to Platform 9 3/4 couldn’t cheer him up, nor could a classic double-decker bus tour.
So he’s turned to a pint, like so many of us often do after a long day.
Maybe a dog’s life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
