Sometimes, the hardest part of parenting isn’t doling out punishment or a serious talking to for misbehavior, but trying not to laugh while doing it. So just imagine the challenge that faced this father as he came across his two sons crouching in the shower each sporting more than a face full of paint.
The interrogation into this green and purple paint debacle begins in standard fashion, and it doesn’t take long for the kids to buckle under the stern questioning of their father. Quickly the details of their devious paint plan unravel as they turn on one another and the older brother rats out his younger sibling. Yet, just when you think these kids are toast, their father’s tough veneer cracks and the laughs start flowing.
Even though he totally blows his cool halfway through, this parent still deserves a “World’s Best Dad” mug for not automatically cracking up when he found his kids cowering in fear after they took finger painting too far.
