With the 2020 presidential election finally decided, and Joe Biden becoming president-elect, a hilarious Twitter page, Coping MAGA (@CopingMAGA), has emerged.
The page features only the best of MAGA supporters’ anger and grief.
The account even made compilation videos featuring supporters of President Donald Trump melting down as it became more and more clear that Biden was on the path to victory, calling the videos “COPE: The movie” and “MAGA MELTDOWN 2020.”
There was also a fair share of posts featuring Trump supporters spinning the election results. “You see… he actually WANTED to lose!” the account wrote, mocking a post that claims losing is all part of Trump’s strategy.
The account arrived just as various Trump acolytes threaten violence over the election results. “Yall dems gonna learn today,” one post featured on the account read. “Well tomorrow.”
4chan has been a rich source of ready-made content for the page. For example, one Trump supporter featured used the platform to organize a strike on work and Black Friday.
The account even took aim at how quiet QAnon has been after Trump’s defeat.
Coping Maga’s pinned tweet encourages followers to contribute to the two Democratic candidates in the Senate run-offs in Georgia in order to turn the state blue.
“Hey y’all – reminder that this election is not over!” the tweet reads. “The GA senate races will be key to having any real chance of real change.”
The Daily Dot has reached out to the co-creators of the Coping MAGA account for comment.
