Anybody who has ever spent time coaching little kids at basketball knows that there will come a point during a game when a confused child will end up with the ball and will try to shoot at the wrong hoop. Usually, the coach or the referee will gently redirect the child and remind him that he’s shooting in the wrong direction. Because you don’t want to scar them for life for not understanding the rules.
Or you can be like the coach below and just block the absolute shit out of the kid’s shot to teach him a lesson that he’ll never forget. It would have almost certainly made Dikembe Mutombo proud.

Hey, at least the kid played it off by flopping to the ground and trying to induce a foul call. But nobody is buying it. As you can see in the clip, the coach got all ball. That’ll teach him. Maybe next time, the kid will think about that if he’s unsure of which way to go with the ball.
