Reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny tested positive for COVID-19 Monday, after canceling his scheduled performance at the American Music Awards and throwing his fans into a frenzy.

The announcement came after the Puerto Rican singer won “favorite male Latin artist” and “favorite Latin Album” for YHLQMDLG at the AMAs Sunday.

The positive test was enough to send Twitter fans into distress, and memes quickly surfaced.

User @jaccoobb_o tweeted, “Bad Bunny got covid?? That’s crossing a line.”

The overriding Twitter sentiment from fans was pure shock.
