‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ TV spot shows General Leia in the war room

The full 60-second TV spot for  Star WarsThe Force Awakens debuted Thursday night during ABC’s primetime lineup, and it’s full of clips new and familiar.

There are voices we’ve come to recognize—Rey and Finn’s first meeting on Jakku, Maz Kanata’s voiceover—but there’s also plenty of wonder to behold in the new, out-of-context clips.

Han Solo hands Rey a blaster, knowing that she’ll need it for the fight ahead. Finn fights the First Order with his lightsaber—and it’s not Kylo Ren. And no matter how much you remember of the old Star Wars films, there’s something for everyone in this shot of General Leia and the Resistance leadership—include a face from the old Rebel Alliance.
