During the fourth episode of Agent Carter, Marvel fans will be observing an age-old tradition: spotting the Stan Lee cameo.
The Marvel Comics mastermind has made numerous cameo appearances in Marvel adaptations, including all of the Spider-Man films and every Marvel Studios movie to date. Lee’s last TV cameo was in the 13th episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as a passenger on a train where Agents Coulson and Simmons were undercover.
A new photo from the Agent Carter set shows him posing with actors Hayley Atwell, James D’Arcy, and Dominic Cooper, all in costume as their characters.

Another photo on the Marvel website shows Stan Lee sitting next to Cooper (Howard Stark) on what look like shoeshine chairs, so that’s probably a clue as to when his character will show up. The cameo episode, “The Blitzkrieg Button,” airs on Jan. 27, but in the meantime the show’s third episode airs this Tuesday night.
