If you had any doubts that Rick and Morty, once a weird little cult favorite on Adult Swim, has breached mainstream popularity, just check out the guest list for season 3.
Series creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon told IndieWire in a recent interview that Thomas Middleditch, Susan Sarandon, Danny Trejo, Christian Slater, Joel McHale, Peter Serafinowicz, and Gillian Jacobs will all make appearances on the show when it returns July 30.
Of course, spotting these familiar voices might be easier said that done. In the free-wheeling animated multiverse of Rick and Morty, someone is as likely to show up as themselves as they are an insectoid leader of an alien planet or a sentient sandwich condiment. (Though, pickle Rick already showed up in the season 3 trailer, so maybe look out for a different but equally strange non sequitur.)

Legendary actor Keith David (The Thing, Crash), will also return in season 3 to reprise his role as The President, following his cameo in the fan-favorite episode “Get Schwifty.”
