This kid’s crocheted E.T. costume is a work of art

Phone home, and ask your mom for one of these.

If the art of crocheting perfect little yarn toys is called amigurumi, what do you call it when you make your kid into one?

Really freakin’ adorable, that’s what. The Huffington Post caught up with Mentor, Ohio, mom Stephanie Pokorny who crocheted an incredible E.T. outfit for her son, Jack. As impressive as the costume is itself, Pokorney said she completed it in just four days and freehanded it without a pattern. Now that’s some out-of-this-world talent. You can check out more of her work at the Huffington Post and Crochetverse.

One thing’s for sure: Jack is going to have the coolest costume on his block this Halloween.
