Game of Thrones fans recently learned that despite the HBO show’s huge budget, some of the costumes come pretty cheap. A costume designer revealed that some of the impressive cloaks worn by the members of the Night’s Watch are in fact nothing more than carefully aged and adapted IKEA rugs.

Now IKEA—a retailer that’s all about the DIY—has released basic instructions on how to make your own Night’s Watch cloak at home.

First, you will need to buy a Skold sheepskin rug, which goes for $79. From there, follow IKEA’s hilariously simple instructions to make a wearable, warm cover to prepare you for the long night.

The people working on set of Game of Thrones obviously do a bit more than simply cutting a hole in a rug. They trim the rugs, add wax to make them more waterproof, secure leather straps, frost them, and age them to make them into the impressively rugged uniforms we see on screen. Still, almost all of their work is manageable using everyday items you can pick up at a craft store.

We’re sure to see some brothers of the Night’s Watch wandering around this Halloween. If you’re ready to take the black, $79 isn’t much to pay for a costume that is almost exactly what you see on screen.
