A new YouTube video from user Merfish called “The Fresh Prince of Rockford Hills” recreates the iconic opening from the 24-year-old sitcom using GTA V. The game was also recently used to remake the opening sequence from Full House.
Merfish also released this frame-by-frame breakdown showing just how accurate the remake is.
Recreating the Fresh Prince theme song has been a longtime hobby of Internet and video enthusiasts. One of the most memorable parody videos was from The Tonight Show‘s Jimmy Fallon in February.
