Remember Hugh Jackman’s “I’m Wolverine!” opening number from the Oscars a few years ago? Well, this week someone else decided to reawaken the desire for a Wolverine musical, and roped in Hugh Jackman to perform some of it on live radio.

Based on “Who Am I?” from Les Miserables, BBC Radio 1’s Wolverine song was right in Jackman’s ballpark. He played Jean Valjean in the movie adaptation last year.

It’s no secret that Hugh Jackman loves playing Wolverine. This year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past will be his seventh big-screen appearance in the role, after all. And considering his musical theatre background, we’re beginning to wonder if a lengthier Wolverine: The Musical performance might happen one day for real. Comic Con, perhaps?
