First-person shooter compilation Borderlands: The Handsome Edition is now available for free download on Xbox One. 

It is currently not clear whether this was a mistake or if Microsoft is simply trying to give back some love to its customers.

The Handsome Edition is a compilation of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, with remastered graphics.

While the deal doesn’t seem to have an official announcement yet, you can head on over to the Microsoft store and download your copy now.
