Batman may be the hero that Whitehaven, Cumbria needs right now.
After a few scares by some creepy clowns in the area, costume shop Cumbria Superheroes sent out Batman to patrol the streets and help put kids’ minds at ease. Photos of the silent guardian, as well as some thank you notes, have been cropping up on Facebook.

This hardly the first time the creepy clowns have spurred vigilante justice. Earlier this week, Chicago rapper Billionaire Black pulled a gun on a clown in an Instagram video that went viral.
