Twitter parody accounts can be the source of great pride or frustration for the person, or company, being caricatured. For Tumblr founder and CEO David Karp, it’s clearly been the latter.

The parody account @DavidKrap offended users with a handful of provocative messages deriding the community.

“Tumblr: the home of the world’s sluttiest virgins,” @DavidKrap tweeted. “And I made ask limit too because sometimes you need to shut the hell up.”

Despite being labeled as a parody account in its description, @DavidKrap remarks were mistaken as being sent from Karp himself, perhaps due to its surprisingly strong follower count (28,946 users).

“I mean, I’m glad he created Tumblr and all. I love Tumblr and it’s a part of my daily life and I’ve met some killer people on here that I know I’ll be friends with for the rest of my life,” vampsandroses wrote. “But, just because we reach post limit doesn’t mean we don’t have lives. Wow. Fuck you.”

Here’s a Storify of the 10 tastefully offensive tweets from @DavidKrap.
