Texting man walks into a bear

Here's yet another reason why you shouldn't text on the move.

On Tuesday morning, residents in Los Angeles suburb La Crescenta had to contend with an uninvited guest: a 400-pound black bear. Though no one was injured before the state’s animal experts tranquilized and captured the bear, one local man got the fright of his life.

After all, the last thing you’d expect to run into when texting your boss to say you’re running late is a bear. Thankfully for Vaz Terdandenyan, his experience in marathons came in handy, as he “was in the shape to run away.”

YouTubers flooded the video’s comment section with jokes and sympathy for Terdandenyan.

“He couldn’t bear it!” wrote jimmycello in a top comment.

“Poor guy, that he would meet a bear was probably the last thing he thought when he got up,” commented shabbbir.

While we’ve seen many Twitter accounts created for animals on the loose, no such parody was put together this time around.

At least Terdandenyan can take solace in the fact that his confrontation with a bear is slightly less embarrassing than smacking one’s head into a pole.
