A teen from Ohio is under ivestigation by the Secret Service after posting a tweet in which she called for President Barack Obama’s assassination.

Shortly after Obama accepted his party’s nomination for president at the Democratic National Convention, Alyssa Douglas wrote: “Someone needs to assassinate Obama…like ASAP #DieYouPieceOfShit.” Both the tweet and Douglas’s account were deleted by Friday morning.

The 16-year-old and her parents met with officials from the Clinton-Massie Local School District, while the Detroit Free Press noted that the Secret Service intended to pass the findings from its probe to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Southern District of Ohio.

Some of those who retweeted Douglas on Friday suggested she’d be on the receiving end of a visit by federal agents. However, prosecutors may opt not to charge the teen if her tweet is not deemed a legitimate threat to the president.

The case followed a situation last week where a man in North Carolina, where the DNC was held, threatened President Obama’s life on Twitter.
