Self-described fame hater Katy Perry recently joined Pinterest to promote her upcoming movie about how she became inexplicably famous.

Perry is the star peacock of the forthcoming documentary, Part of Me, which showcases her rise to fame. (Think Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never but with more polyester outfits and some talk of Jesus.)  To make it more inescapable, she’s using her Pinterest board to tell fans to pin their own Part of Me-inspired pictures for use in the film’s new ad campaign.

Currently, there’s only nine boards, with three of them from her superfans, or as they’re apparently called “Katycats.” I don’t know how to describe the fans’ boards, but it’s a lot of posing awkwardly with Perry, probably because they won some radio station contest. There’s also seom creative use of Photoshop’s text tool and one fan getting Perry’s autographed tattooed on her chest.

So, if you’re feeling “fragile like a plastic bag” and “one blow away from caving in,” as Perry sings in “Firework,” you should probably see a shrink and not do this. At all.

But, if you really need to tell Perry that you love her, start pinning.
