Late last night, the New York Police Department moved Occupy Wall Street protestors out of Zuccotti Park in New York. CNN reports that more than 100 people were arrested during the raid.

Given that a NYC judge has publicly stated that the city cannot prevent “protesters from re-entering the park with tents,” as noted by ThinkProgress, the most alarming news of the night came from first-hand reports filed through Twitter.

Several posted about alleged clashing with police, being denied press recognition, and the destroying of personal property, including tents and books.

“No matter how you feel about #OWS, I hope the absolute disregard for freedom of the press during tonight’s raid on the park gives you pause,” wrote Ted Alexandro (@tedalexando) this morning.
