See if you can hate the timeline now, we dare you.

Bedazzled hot-air balloon/singer Katy Perry released a new lyric video Sunday, and it looks like she’s every bit as obsessed with Facebook as she is with fireworks.

Perry showcases “Wide Awake,” off her latest album, with a romp through her Facebook’s timeline. The video zips through important events in her career while the song’s lyrics zoom in like great, big status updates. The video has racked up more than 106,000 views in less than 24 hours.

Facebook approved Team Perry’s use of the Timeline feature and is promoting it on their “Celebs on Facebook” and “Music on Facebook” pages.

The timeline begins in May 2010 with the announcement of the release of her hit album Teenage Dream, and it ends with the April 2012 announcement of her new movie. At the 1:35 mark, there is even a January 2011 picture of Perry posing with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

The oddest part of the upbeat video is that she included a post where she had to cancel a few performances in July 2011 due to food poisoning. Wide awake on the bathroom floor, I guess?

The video’s YouTube page has garnered more than 2,000 compelling comments professing their love for Perry or debating the song’s merits. “lol I hate the new timeline layout on Facebook. Creative idea though,” reasoned one user.

So, maybe not everyone is a firework.
