Last year, Antoine Dodson’s loudness brought him fame. This weekend, it got him arrested.

The boisterous “Bed Intruder” sensation was pulled over in his hometown of Huntsville, Alabama, for blaring his music too loudly. When police realized Dodson had an outstanding warrant (he’d failed to show up for a court date stemming from marijuana possession), they took him into custody.

The Huntsville Police Department told Rumorfix that the flamboyant Net celebrity spend Saturday night in jail. He was released Sunday morning after paying $516 in bail.

“Yet I still don’t know why I was arrested…,” Dodson  wrote on his verified Twitter account.

He must have found out, because he wrote that he is attending his court date today.

After the story was confirmed this morning, Twitter users began quipping about Dodson’s misadventure. The irony was lost on no one.

“Antoine Dodson? Too loud? That has to be a mistake,” wrote @AGuyWithNoLife.

UPDATE Earlier today, Dodson posted a video expressing his side of the story. He said that the police could have simply let him know about his court date, but they “wanna make a big deal out of something small.” Afterward, he expressed his disdain for the legal system.

“You only need a seventh grade diploma to become a… judge or cop,” he said in the video.

However, Dodson took down the video mere minutes after posting. When reached for comment on Twitter, he told the Daily Dot, “It was the wrong video…”  He has yet to post the “right” video, whatever that may be.

We’ll update as we hear more.
