The wall behind this man playing the Star Wars theme on flame-shooting bagpipes says “Keep Portland Weird,” and it looks like the man—who, by the way, is balancing on a ball decorated like the new droid BB-8—intends to do just that.
Any one of this video’s many elements—building flamethrower bagpipes, playing any kind of bagpipes, playing the Star Wars theme passably well on bagpipes, or balancing on a giant ball—would be impressive in isolation. Put them together and you get a video that wins Star Wars Day hands-down.
It’s a precarious-looking musical act. All we can say is, May the Fourth of gravity remain on his side.
