Blah, blah, blah, New England Patriots—the real winners of Super Bowl XLIX were Katy Perry‘s backup dancer sharks. They were only in the spotlight for a few glorious minutes, but they’ll be in our hearts forever. Even better, they may soon be in our wardrobes, too.
Online clothier Bonobos turned a spur-of-the-moment Super Bowl joke into a full-fledged online promotion, offering to produce a shark costume based on the Super Bowl sensations “if we receive enough interest.”
Should we make those shark costumes from the @katyperry #HalftimeShow ? RT and we will set up a @kickstarter. #SuperBowl #SuperBowlXLIX

It’s fitting that the name of the site is Bonobos, because shark-suit fans on Twitter are reacting to this news by going ape—well, you know.

Please let me buy a shark suit, @Bonobos. Not only for Halloween, but in place of taking Klonopin or Prozac—I would wear it everyday.
