This isn’t a long story, but it’s about as excruciating as they come.

We all behave stupidly on social media—tweet something stupid, share a fake article, like a crush’s Instagram post from two years ago—but no gaffe can compare in agony to the life-ending mistake committed by Redditor /u/fckas, as she recounted on the site’s “Today I Fucked Up” board:

That’s the sort of thing you have nightmares about for the rest of your life—if you can even get to sleep. Poor /u/fckas was so hungover the next morning, she said, that she didn’t realize the mistake until the following evening after everyone had seen it. Her boyfriend was the one to ask about the posts and subsequently informed her that she had a drinking problem.

Good thing it’s Thanksgiving weekend—she can binge-eat the pain away.
