Dentistry advertising is a tricky business. Nobody enjoys going to the dentist, so it’s a blatant lie to advertise a dentist’s office as a fun and cool place to be. This YouTube commercial does a pretty good job, though.

Instead of using stock footage of people with shiny teeth running through fields and eating health food, the office of Dr. John K. Sudick, DDS, created a techno track using noises sampled from his surgical activities. Dental drills, the sound of a latex glove snapping against a wrist—it all works surprisingly well.

This is a very Dad Humor ad, starring a middle-aged guy reveling in his own dorkiness to promote dental hygiene. We kind of love it.
