It turned out to be a pretty good day for Dalton after all.

While driving in the Dallas-Fort Worth area early Wednesday morning, Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton made a startling discovery: The two Nike suitcases that had been stored in the bed of his truck had disappeared. His luggage hadn’t been stolen, but somewhere along a north-central Texas freeway, the suitcases had fallen out of his truck.

Thus, as one would do, Dalton took to Twitter to ask his 158,000 followers for help.

There were a couple of false leads, and as the day strode toward late afternoon, Dalton still didn’t have his possessions. He didn’t even have this.

And then… success!

Less than two hours later, Dalton and his wife, Jordan, had their suitcases.

It was quite a day for Dalton—and for, well, everybody on social media.
