Nothing subtle about this.

Netflix and Chill,” that infamous meme we once loved and now completely despise, continues to serve as a cheap marketing gimmick. There is now a “Netflix and Chill” room in Manhattan you can rent on Airbnb for $400 a night (or, as Digiday has kindly calculated, 40 months’ worth of Netflix subscription dues). It includes a Netflix-themed bedspread, an HD projector connected to the streaming service, and, most importantly, a full bar.

The listing was created by Tom Galle, a New York-based artist and former agency creative, and some friends from the art collective Art404. According to Galle, Netflix isn’t involved with the scheme, but he said that an acquaintance who works there reported the reaction from the company as generally positive.

The room has only received one reservation for February so far, but Galle plans to keep the listing active for a few more months. So if you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to “Netflix and Chill” in a room expressly designed for that, you might want to book soon. Or you could just save that $400 and take bae out on a romantic date, then end the night streaming Netflix from the comfort of your own home. Whichever’s most chill.
